HISTORY

In 1962 Campbell Bolwell transformed his hobby of building special sportscars into a business. Developing hands-on skills in fibreglass moulds and moulding techniques his first commercial model, the Bolwell Mk. 4, sold over 200 units and is testimony to entrepreneurial flair and dedication to a dream.
By the time Bolwell Cars began its diversification into other fibreglass products the five different commercial models produced had earned for the Bolwell marque a unique place in Australian automotive history.

This early success led to Bolwell Corporation's prominence as a quality composite manufacturer and laid the foundation of Bolwell's reputation for effective design solutions in the creative application of composite materials.
Today Bolwell is a supplier of composite mouldings to customer order, with significant long term contracts in the heavy transport industry, both road and rail, as well as other products such as special purpose tanks, automotive mouldings and other industrial products. Additionally, Bolwell has other divisions producing thermo mouldings and structural flat panels.
